Is this the end of TOGN??

Oh how the winter has killed what once was a great gathering of largely unathletic twenty-somethings every Tuesday night at 7 pm. Is that a run-on sentance? YES. Will there be poeple willing to play frisbee in the near future? I DONT KNOW. Know this; it was fun while it lasted. Or maybe TOGN will take a winter break? Why am I assigning human characteristics to a game? Find out answers to these questions and more on March 13th.

Halloween and the week after

TOGN Halloween was huge success. Lots of crazy costumes. A handful of hideous costumes! Is Jeff still in character?

Only 5 of us showed up this last Tuesday, which means 10 times the running for each player. Big Jenny would not have made it to the first water break! However, it was still a good time. Can throwing a frisbee in a lit field ever be bad? I don't think so.

It's business as usual next week. 7:15 at Glencoe.

Long live TOGN!

Halloween TOGN

Boil, bubble,
Toil and trouble.
Let the fun begin,
It's time for TOGN.

7pm sharp at Glencoe field will be the place,
Don't forget to bring your game face.
Halloween costumes are a must,
Or the frisbee game will be a bust.

After the game, we'll head to the Gregg's.
Bring your own drinks, we won't have a keg.
We will have Chick-Fil-A, cookies and candy,
Lots of fun with friends - it will be dandy.

Happy Halloween!

I LOVE TO BLOG YOU

Hey folks,

Matt here. Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to TOGN tonight. It is hard to believe that we have been doing this for around 6 months straight. Whoever came up with the idea deserves a beer or a coke or a lemonade. I think that person was Jeff. Way to go Jeff. Hey folks in the band and folks in Nuevo Mexico, we miss you guys. Here is a summary of tonights events.
We had 8 folks come out and were quickly divided into teams by Whitney "im crazy about kids" Graham. The Marmudukes throttled the Chicago bears in the first game by a score of 100-3. The bears (much like last night) came back and put the hurt on the cartoon dogs in the second game. The third game was close but the male great danes won it in close battle which had a close score of 6-4. Close. When there are only eight folks, you have to run a lot, and I am not sure I like that.

A road- keep the putting the full court press on those nashville types. T-bone you know what i mean.

I have no idea what i just typed. Such is blogging.

TOGN Group Pics

Hey everyone!

First off, I just want to say that this is the most brilliant idea ever! Thanks Jon for setting up the blog! Just thought I would upload some of the group pics from TOGN. It is time to get an updated pic of the current group - maybe from Halloween when we are all dressed-up in our costumes!

The last group TOGN picture was taken in June. It is fun to see how TOGN has evolved and grown over the last 6 months.

This is a picture of the founding members of TOGN taken in May - yes, that's right - Charlie is a founding member. The only one missing from this pic is Annabelle :)

Let the fun begin!

The TOGN blog is finally here. Anyone who wants can post. All you have to do is set up an account with blogger. I will send an "invite" out to each person on Jama's mailing list.
We figured this would be a good way to post pics and stories from TOGN, as well as a good way to keep up with TOGN members who have moved to far off places (and those who are in a different far off place each week).
If for some reason you do not get an invite from me, send me and email at jon@jonmeyermusic.com
Long live TOGN,

jon
